Pearl Jam have been revealed as one of the headliners for this summer's Lollapalooza in Chicago. The Chicago Sun-Times' Jim DeRogatis announced the band's involvement today, but noted that organizers will not be officially unveiling the lineup until late March or early April. He also notes that PJ's appearance will be part of a yet-to-be-announced summer tour from the band.

Pearl Jam already have set a European trek for June.
All 21 of Metallica's videos are now available on iTunes, as well as the extras from their recent DVD release, The Videos 1989-2004. The extras include the trailer for the Some Kind of Monster documentary, the theatrical version of the clip for "The Unforgiven," and the 1989 VHS release 2 of One.

Fans can download the whole package or purchase the videos individually. Tool is setting the record straight about drummer Danny Carey's torn bicep, and the band's Web site basically says that Carey picked up his dog, a boxer, "in a most awkward way," resulting in the injury. "Lots of you have been asking just how Danny tore his [right] bicep.

Some thought the injury occurred while he was playing basketball, with others wondering if he damaged it out on the golf course, or, worse still, in a motorcycle accident," reads the site. "Well, the truth of the matter is that he tangled with the wrong boxer. Although the guy in question is pretty old now (at least, he's not in his prime as boxers go), he obviously got the best of Danny when this all went down a couple of weeks ago.

" Carey had surgery on the bicep on February 21, and now Yahoo's Launch reports that doctors will examine him this week to determine how much time he'll need to recuperate. Once Carey has recovered, Tool plans to keep touring through June of 2008. The group is still scheduled to perform at the Bonnaroo Music Arts Festival, held from June 14 to 17 in Manchester, TN.

The Fray have announced their largest headlining tour yet, playing amiptheaters and arenas throughout the summer. The tour begins in Minneapolis on June 11 and wraps up with two nights on their home turf of Denver, CO at the legendary Red Rocks on August 4 and 5. OK Go and Mae will open the first leg, with Gomez and Eisley on the second leg and Meese and another TBA artist for the final eight dates.

Pete Wentz of Fall Out Boy will be among the artists discussing their struggles with mental health in a new mtvU series of specials debuting this spring. Half Of Us will also include contributions from Mary J. Blige, Nelly Furtado and Max Bemis of Say Anything.

A Los Angeles real estate agent has reportedly accused Sean "Diddy" Combs of punching him at a Hollywood hotel on Oscar night. Although a Los Angeles Police Department spokesperson would not confirm that Diddy was the perpetrator, she confirmed that an incident report was taken at the Hollywood Roosevelt Hotel, in which an unidentified person was accused of battery, according to MTV.com.

Also, a copy of the alleged report posted on TMZ.com, which does not name Diddy, says that the rapper/producer was talking to real estate agent Gerard Rechnitzer's girlfriend, and when Rechnitzer approached Diddy he was punched on the right side of his face. KoRn's new MTV Unplugged performance can now be seen online at unplugged.

mtv.com and it will air on MTV this Friday night at 11:30 p.m.

The special features appearances by The Cure's Robert Smith and Evanescence's Amy Lee as well as a cover of Radiohead's "Creep." The CD of KoRn Unplugged will be released next Tuesday, March 6, and it is also streaming on MTV's Urge digital music network. In other band news, catch KoRn on March 1 on The Tonight Show with Jay Leno performing one of their hits from the Unplugged record.

They will be performing with 20 other musicians, marking the largest production ever for any Tonight Show performance. Furthermore, the show will mark the debut of axeman Clint Lowery, formerly of Sevendust and Dark New Day, as their new touring guitarist. Lowery will replace Rob Patterson, who'd been the band's touring guitarist following the 2005 departure of Brian "Head" Welch.

Guster will release a new digital EP on April 10, including two remixes of their current single "Satellite," as well as four previously-unreleased tracks. The EP is rounded out by covers of The Beatles' "Two Of Us" and "Total Eclipse Of The Heart," featuring "non-singer/drummer" Brian Rosenworcel.
Prolific singer/songwriter Ryan Adams has announced his next album, Easy Tiger, will be out on June 5 on Lost Highway.
