I didn't expect to like this for two reasons: name I've never heard before, and they are on Victory Records. Well, I was wrong. This album is super sweet.
It's catchy as aids and gets stuck in your head like a fat guy in an inner tube. And the music is genuinely good..
.. they have a few solos that would make metal bands jealous.
I guess this would be lumped in with the whole pop-punk/emo pile but that would be unfair, because these guys are better than most of those bands. The lyrics and music are both of good quality. I would say the vocals definetly make the album come together, they use background vocals nicely and the lead vocalist is pretty damn good.
Make fun of me all you want, but I'd rather listen to this than most of the crap out there.
