Outside back Rudi Wulf has earned a start in the Blues team for Friday night's Super 14 rugby match against the Highlanders after showing his sharp striking skills last week.
He has been named on the left wing in place of strong performer Anthony Tuitavake, who hobbled off during last Saturday's 38-13 win over the Reds and was replaced by Wulf.
Wulf scored two tries and remains in the backline that has seen one further change - David Gibson for Steve Devine at halfback.
Angus Macdonald comes back from injury to take over from Justin Collins at blindside flanker in the only other change.
Coach David Nucifora has retained his hard working tight five who successfully held up the big Reds forward pack.
Sam Biddles, Nick White, Anthony Boric, Justin Collins, Steve Devine, Sam Tuitupou, George Pisi.
