Medics rush for Britney Spears in rehab London, Feb 26: Britney Spears had her kith and kin worried sick when paramedics were rushed to the rehab center to treat her.

The troubled singer, who entered the Promises clinic in Malibu on Thursday, Feb 22, is receiving intensive treatment for alcohol abuse. What had fans worried was that minutes after the paramedics arrived, Britney’s mom Lynne as well as her estranged hubby Kevin Federline and their two kids Sean Preston and Jayden James also landed at the clinic. "She is going to be OK," the Mirror quoted a Malibu sheriff at the scene, as saying.

"Police said staff were concerned about Britney - but they didn't say why. Her mother looked very worried," a witness said. Much to the dismay of her family, friends and fans, the singer’s life has been spiraling out of control ever since she dumped Federline last year.

Since then, she has been indulging in wild and boozy parties, been snapped without panties, and the latest shaving of her head and getting tattooed. Her wild behavior not only has people speculating that she is on the verge of a nervous breakdown, but has also resulted in the loss of popularity that she enjoyed in the 90s, as well as the shutdown of her biggest fan site. Her manager, Larry Rudolph, has in the meantime rubbished reports that the singer is on a “suicide watch” in the clinic, after she reportedly tried to take her own life.
