MILAN, Feb 24, 2007/ FW/ A concert on the fourth floor in a fashion house doesn’t take place that often so you can imagine what it’s like when it does. Skin known as a solo artist and for her part in the band, Skunk Anansie, did a mini concert for the Gianfranco Ferre party. She is currently model for the Gianfranco Ferre campaign for spring summer 2007.
This punk inspired singer is not the first person people might think of when they think of high fashion but Ferre saw something special. Skin’s image as a strong woman whose image though rough is still charming and energetic was exactly what the designer was looking for. Her sensuality with out going the traditional feminine route is what works for the new image of Ferre.
The after party to the Ferre fashion show was held where the show took place earlier but a huge stage, and bars had been set up. Skin sang for a bout an hour to an excited crowd of fashionistas. Her gold pants and white top were Gianfranco Ferre designs and she definitely rocked them on the stage.
