OK Huge, But not too controversial (ya, right) or the Gazoo won't post it. Mind you, I'm quite surprised at how UNsupervised this particular forum is. I've got to give them credit where it is due.

What shall it be, language, politics, language politics or religion? Pick one, they're all sure-fire topics guaranteed to heat up the wires.

Someone asked me before the topic was changing to this boring one, how I'd like to see Quebec.

Bilingual, not french only, is how I'd like to see it before there are no anglos left at all in Quebec. I'd also like to see immigrants and anglos alike taking a stand and asking the courts to let them place their children in the schools THEY choose not the ones the government chooses. I'd like to see someone, anyone stand up and say enough is enough when it comes to the closing of english schools and to the enforcing of the french language.

French IS spoken everywhere now, it's time for the government to relax the laws and let anglos and immigrants live in the language of their choice again. Quebec is NOT a country and shouldn't be allowed, as a province in Canada, to act like one.
