Open for almost three months, Eddie Haskell's Patio Grill in Rogers has been given many labels by its patrons. It's been called a club, a sports bar and an after-hours hangout.

Bella Vista : BIG BAND DANCE Winner of an Ozark Music Award for best swing/jazz band, The Jack Mitchell Big Band will host a dance from 7:30-10:30 p.m. Saturday at Riordan Hall, 2 Riordan Drive.

With featured vocalists Susan Wizer and Phil Pierce, the band will perform ballads, waltzes, swing music and more. Tickets are $10 and are available at the door or by calling 855-8170 or 855-4702. There will also be a cash bar and tables available for parties of 10 or singles.

Columbia, Mo. : LATIN MEETS JAZZ In celebration of the 80th birthdays of late jazz greats Miles Davis and John Coltrane, the We Always Swing Jazz Series will showcase the music of both composers with a Latin twist.
