Harmonica hellions Musselwhite and Wilson, though separated in age and in style, rock a harp as strong as any other instrument in their bands. Musselwhite's been playing the blues since he was a kid in the '50s, and Wilson, who is probably best known for forming the Fabulous Thunderbirds in the '70s, scored major hits in the '80s with "Tuff Enuff" and "Wrap It Up." The three will be joined by the Blues Survivors Band (guitarist/keyboardist Bob Welsh, bassist Steve Wolf and drummer Marty Dodson) Thursday at 8 p.
m. at 7152 Moses Lane. Cost is $32 for students and blues society members and $35 for the public.

Jumpin' J.C.
's Orlando-based rock 'n' soul outfit the Legendary J.C.'s,, which puts on one of the best live shows in the South, is a gleeful seven-piece gospel group that won't be playing any of your father's church music.
The J.C's (vocalist/percussionist Eugene Snowden, bassist Ralph Ameduri, drummer Anthony Cole, guitarist Brian Chodorcoff, keyboardist Jack Stirling, saxophonist Brian Mackie and trombone player Clay Watson) will kick you in the pants and make you want to come back for more. They do a soul revue even Motown would applaud.
The guys' gospel/soul/R B sound is, like one fan said, "going to the funkiest church you ever done been to," and you can hear it at 10 p.m. today at Yianni's Nightclub, 658 W.
Tennessee Street. Cost is to be determined. Call 681-9565.
