Just thought I'd tell you guys how my day works...

for those that are interested...

Monday is the worst day of the week for me. Not just because it’s a Monday, but because I work the full day. For example.

6.

30 am my alarm goes off and I hit snooze
6.40 my alarm goes off I hit snooze
6.50 I manage to stumble out of bed into either trackies or work clothes and head down to the MS office (our boarding office) by 7am.

7am - I get laundry keys and go sit in the laundry making sure the girls take their clothes only, its great you can do it half asleep :)
7.25 put the keys back attempt to brush my hair and look half decent before going down to breakfast
7.30 Get a nice breakfast that includes a bowl of 'weetabix' and something on top plus if there’s something good to eat like nice egg or hash brown some of that and sometimes toast.

I am eating so much :S
8.10 Boarding meeting with the girls..

8.30 make sure they all are out of their rooms with their rooms tidy
8.

45 if not already dressed in work gear I get changed do make up
9. but on days like this I have swimming monitoring so I can stay in my pe type clothes. Haven’t gone swimming yet (as in actually in the pool) because of my cold.

Or in the mornings when I don’t have pe stuff first up I often sort the mail (always hoping there is some for me! and I got your letter today about Jacquie's wedding. It sounded so beautiful!

10 am - 4 pm I have a mix of jobs varying form office work to helping out I PE with netball etc or even babysitting Havana and Ally who are 2 and 1 and very cute! I shall put in a picture of Havana - she is very talkative and so cute.

Ally is a gorgeous baby who hardly cries and just smiles all the time.
4pm if I am on boarding duties (like today) I go monitor afternoon tea, make sure they all clean up etc then I got to the 1st and 2nd years common room to make sure they don’t burn themselves while they make toast, tea, anything using electrical equipment. it’s just a good time to bond with the girls as well.

they are all generally lovely girls. that goes still about 5.30pm I hand about in the MS office do errands have a laugh, everyone is so lovely!

we are so lucky!
6.30 head down to dinner take the role as the girls go in.

the food is pretty good can’t complain...

we had pizza tonight :)
7.30 monitoring prep in the IT room (right now!) so I can use the computer and everything and just tell them all to be quite :)
8.

15 on a Monday I run my club (first night tonight) which is board games/sudoku/cards or just watch TV with them
9pm 1st years have to be in bed reading pjs on, clean teeth
9.15 1st yrs lights off and every year after that at 15 min intervals
9-10.30 patrolling corridors telling them all to stop talking etcetc
10.

30 falling asleep in the office and then told to go to bed...

have shower
10.45- 11.15pm collapse into bed.

..

So yep it’s a loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooong day!

Ooh I have some news. In Godalming, which is the town I live in, they are currently making a movie! And no it’s not some shoddy movie.

It stars two very big people in it. One being Cameron Diaz and the other being Jude Law. Very exciting!

! We are going to try and get in as extras!!

Doubt it will happen but yeah. They are only filming one day next week and that’s when it half term so we were thinking of coming back down form London to just keep a keen eye out for the celebrities.
