WELSH Secretary Peter Hain joined Babyshambles yesterday to campaign against the BNP.
The Neath politician rallied with Pete Doherty and Jerry Dammers from the Specials at the Unite Against Fascism conference in London.
Muslim and Jewish leaders, students and gay rights campaigners also took part in the demo to discuss how to combat the far right British National Party.
Mr Hain said: "Progressives have a moral duty to fight fascism wherever it rears its ugly head. The Anti-Nazi League played a leading role in helping end the evil of the National Front. Now we must unite to combat the BNP racists and their ideology of hate - that's why it's important that we build Unite Against Fascism today.
"
Dammers, who wrote the anti-racist song Free Nelson Mandela said the BNP were like Daleks, because "no matter how many times they're defeated, they don't get the message".
