Christina Aguilera
After performing at the Grammy Awards this Sunday and then the NBA All-Star game on February 18 in Las Vegas, Christina Aguilera will kick off her North American tour in Houston on February 20. The singer is promising fans quite a spectacle on this run, complete with 10 costume changes, 820 pounds of confetti, 600 moving lights and even a carousel horse. "My dancers went into training.

I'm so proud of them," Aguilera said on Tuesday, according to MTV News. "They learned how to stilt-walk, how to trapeze, fire-throw. There are so many different circus elements that are involved in the show, and it's just super fun.

.. I don't think it would be fair to my audience to just sit on the stage with a mic.

If I play in an arena, I want my audience to look around and enjoy a show from all aspects." However, despite gearing up for the tour, which hits 41 cities before ending in May, Aguilera is also planning her next musical move. But she would not reveal what tricks she has up her sleeve.

"I'm already exploring new ideas for what the next look is and what the next sound will be, which I'm really excited about," she said. "I have to put it on the back burner and finish with the tour, but I definitely have ideas for the next (project)." Aguilera also said that acting may be in her future.

She has been reading scripts and is looking for the "right role" to start off her film career. "Like music, it's another art form I want to take seriously," she said of acting. "I've been reading scripts and whatnot.

I want to make sure it's the right role and, if I want to act, to do just that, not just play myself as a singer.
