Remixed by the Plump DJs, it was caned in the clubs. It was followed by the stellar album lsquo;Purple Funky Monkey rsquo; on TCR, which produced the huge dancefloor hits lsquo;Rockstar rsquo;, lsquo;Blackout rsquo;, lsquo;Don rsquo;t Be Alone rsquo; and lsquo;Disco Rockers rsquo; as well as the title track and caused them to be called lsquo;blinding rsquo; huge rsquo; and lsquo;stupidly massive rsquo; by the likes of Freq Nasty, Lee Coombs and Laurent Garnier.
Since then they have mixed an album in the essential Beatz and Bobz series, released sizzling new tracks lsquo;Some Kinda Funky Shit rsquo; and lsquo;The Spice rsquo; for their Punk Funk imprint plus a single called lsquo;Shake It rsquo; for Phonetic.
Darren is the DJ of the outfit and last toured here with Krafty Kuts; this time around he is heading up the breaks arena at Future Music Festival; and taking in some killer club shows too.
