OKLAHOMA CITY - The swelling is gone from Andrei Kirilenko's foot, but not the soreness. And now his pain has spread. Kirilenko wore a protective boot on his right foot Saturday, and though he said it doesn't feel as severe as previous sprains, his ankle will cause him to miss Monday's game with the Nets.
"Maybe two, three, four days," Kirilenko said. Carlos Boozer, meanwhile, will undergo an MRI on his left knee today, after colliding with Tyson Chandler in the first quarter. X-rays found no damage, but Boozer is experiencing mild pain, athletic trainer Gary Briggs said.
Boozer's status for Monday and beyond remains in question pending today's tests. Jarron Collins also was injured Saturday after taking an elbow to the face from Hilton Armstrong. Collins needed five stitches, three in his lip and two inside his mouth, to close the cut.
