The libation, dubbed Liquid Experience, doesn't overtly promise to help imbibers improve their stamina on either the six-string or any of the activities for which Pamela Des Barres praised Hendrix's prowess. It does, however, pledge to offer to siphon a percentage of its profits into music education programs -- a fine idea, as long as that percentage is larger than, say, zero-percent.
Call us jaded if you like, but we'll hold off until the brew is peddled in conjunction with a matching hip flask -- what could be more authentic than that?

To all who disapprove of the jimi hendrix experience drink, I may not be the most intelligent person on the face of the earth, but i am fan, a fan of music, a fan of Jimi Hendrix, and a fan of the Jimi Hendrix experience drink. I believe that the people that are making the "experience" drink are probably not just going for the money.
I mean were all fans of something, maybe its a band, a tv show, a sport, a person, but i believe that xthe people who are making this "experience" are truly fans of the great man, and are not just out to go get the name and make so much money, because if that were true then I'm sure the Hendrix family would not sign to the drink,plus some of the money goes to different charities. The drink isn't making fun of Jimi so why dislike it? I support it, because it supports Jimi and gets his name out there for others to grace upon in him and his glourious guitar riffs.

. I'm sure the Hendrix Family feels the complete opposite of you. and Flea, i'm sure you wouldn't be so angry that your name is going out on a drink, or would you?

I love Hendrix's music. Nevertheless, he died of an overdose because he suffered from an illnes called addiction. A drink with that background (everybody knows the facts concerning Hendrix's problems)is doomed to failure.

unless I might get wasted (at least in my immagination) by drinking something that reminds me of Jimmy. One thing is to understand and love his music and separate it from his drug problem but there is a thiference between a drink and the beauty of music.
