At any rate sure is something to tell the grandkids, huh? I would try to provide them with some positive feedback. Congratulations and Good Luck, Jason and Missy
Susan wrote on October 24, 2006 11:09 AM: I am sorry for those who are set in their ways and cannot see beyond themselves.

I believe that Jesus would come to the wedding. Looking at it from the perspective that the wedding was 'dark', are not these the type of people that Jesus would have us minister to and befriend? Are they not the ones who need to find Jesus?

Christians have already found Jesus and as a Christian are expected to share him with those who are 'lost'? Just a thought to ponder.

debra wrote on October 24, 2006 9:58 AM: i have been living with my man for 28 years no kids we been together for 30 years i suppose this wrong to you .

its our choice we are very happy
Joel wrote on October 24, 2006 9:41 AM: I have one thing to ask you and that is , would jesus have come to the wedding. because i dont think he would of. and im glad that im not this pastor because if i was her i would be worried about what God would have to say to me.

And how can you say that this was not a Dark side wedding. they "pledged their vampire-like undying love." o thats christan "NOT!

" And then you have the pastor that puts "witches brew" on her vest. they had a hearse (which to me means death.) So i do belive that this was a dark wedding.

And i know it was their wedding and im glad that they got married but i dont think a christan pastor should have married them.
Susan wrote on October 24, 2006 8:51 AM: I feel the need to address the concern about the pastor not handling this appropriately. I feel that the opinions expressed are not fully informed opinions.

Something to think on, "Do you know the couple, the pastor or anyone involved with this wedding? Are you aware of the preparation and counseling that took place prior to this wedding?" I am acquainted with all of the parties involved and am aware that conversations about the 'darker side' of Halloween were discussed and ensured that this was not the case for this couple.

Joel wrote on October 24, 2006 7:13 AM: Mabe you think its COOL but a pastor never should have had any part in it. She is the leading her sheep the wrong way.
Joel wrote on October 23, 2006 5:15 PM: What kind of a pastor would do a wedding like this.

this is an insult to God. And i sure do hope that the churchs name "Community of Christ" is not talking about my Jesus Christ. because if it is then the people of this church need to stand up to the pastor.

Deb wrote on October 23, 2006 1:40 PM: if this is what the couple likes - good for them, but I can't believe that any Christian people would be a part of this !
