One of my son's Christmas gifts was the 2007 Guinness World Records book, non-stop for a portion of my childhood. The one I had in my youth was about three inches thick.

This one is more like a coffee-table style book, but thin. Definitely not the full version, but there were still several mentions of U2 in the Music section, including one I didn't know. Here they are, word-for-word:
act in the world in 2005 with an income of $255,022,633.

of July 2, 2005, Sir Paul McCartney (UK, above right) and Bono (Ireland, ended. This also gives them the record for fastest available download. the most for a group.

only 85 copies???


that some ticket brokers have listed for shows later this year. It happens after every tour, but some folks always seem to get fooled into thinking those listings are legit. I got an email from one overanxious fan last week wondering if s/he should buy those tickets now since it's so hard to get U2 tickets normally.
