At this point in Bjork's career, eclecticism isn't exactly news, but the Icelandic snow princess has announced that her upcoming record, which will be released by Atlantic in the spring, will feature the production skills of Timbaland and the crooning of Antony Hegarty (Antony And The Johnstons). Also drawing on African instrumentation, the record will host Toumani Diabate's Kora and Konono No. 1's electric thumb piano, lending some West African warmth to Bjork's expansive sonic tundra.
Expect a full US tour to follow the record's release, but as of today, Bjork's only announced date is headlining this year's Coachella Festival.
