The paparazzi have not been very kind to Spears recently. Snapped in terrible mouth agape poses eating fast food, disheveled and grubby nailed and dirty looking with vomit on her hands, Spears is trying to put out her comeback album in November, but Page Six reports their insider music industry sources say Jive Records is going to have trouble selling the goods if she continues her unappealing displays in public. Spears, who was supposed to record tracks throughout November, December and this month, has been distracted by the fast night life and new men to love up.
"Right now, she is trying to lay down some tracks, but no one is keen to move very quickly because there is the issue of how to market the album," an unnamed Page Six insider said. "Jive hasn't even picked producers for the album."
"If she doesn't clean up her act - and soon - it is going to be a problem.
The public has grown really tired of her antics and despite her and [manager Larry Rudolph] promising she would change, she hasn't," continued Page Six's unnamed source. "She has lost her core fan base of teen girls."
Spears has been burning the midnight oil, instead of what she should have done all along after her split from Federline, which is to lay low, get in great physical shape, work on her music and stage show, and bust out with a hot album for a long awaited return to glory She has not done what a top manager would have insisted on, and it will cost her dearly.
Page Six listed her various transgressions, including the famous Paris Hilton inspired lack of underwear photos which occured four times. They list Spears vomiting at a club too. There was the "Vegas Nap," the PDA's with Cohen, then the most damning recent photos, each one worth a thousand words, splashed all over celebrity blogs and sites show her looking dirty, nails bitten and chipped polish, acne, an open mouth being stuffed with greasy food, and her hair a complete disaster.
Page Six e-mailed the Spears' camp, "We are anticipating an album release second half of 2007. Jive is not worried about marketing the album, in fact we are looking forward to the release. We don't comment on our artists' personal lives.

leave Britney alone all everyone is trying to do is criticize her for this and criticize her of that. Why not instead of saying fans have deserted, her look round about the web or on her myspace at the amount of support she actually has got from her real fans. The press can try try and try again but they will never be fully able to discredit her because she has got so much support around the world.
2007 is the year of Britney's comeback and everyone that said she wont pull it off will be made to eat their own words.
Because Britney Rocks!Jan 20th, 2007 - 22:14:20
Oh my god, everyone's being so mean to Britney!
I know she's making tons of mistakes recently but like, give her a break! The media's being such a skank about her! I am so going to buy her new album when it comes out, and if i have to, I'll buy like, 50 copys to help save her career!

This poptart needs to go away for a few years and grow up, then maybe she can make a comeback. With all that money maybe she can figure out how to do some good with it like Ophra, Angelina, Rosie, etc. She is a major trainwreck right now.
Maybe the press is in her face all the time, but the things she is doing isn't the fault of anyone but herself...
