Last week, Health Minister Dave Hancock was sharply criticized by at least two government members after he spoke in favour of strengthening anti-smoking laws. Treasury Board president Lloyd Snelgrove took aim at Hancock and also questioned whether Solicitor General Fred Lindsay can justify the need for a new remand centre in Edmonton at a cost of $300 million.
