Sporting some of the latest models of PokerPro electronic tables, the Los Angeles casino attracted all sorts of poker types to give the things a try, and discover what it s like playing a happy medium between online and tournament play. The electronic tables present something of an industrial revolution for the casino model.
Requiring no dealers and no floorperson the tables allow players to select all their actions via the touch screen in front of them.
The tables are handled via a table-specific ID card which holds all your personal data.
And apparently, the opening games flowed like water.
All the actions of the players are quite clear on the display screen.
While tables cannot be linked to one another at the moment, 2007 will supposedly bring a software release that will allow the tables to be linked for multi-table tournament play.
