DAVE Evans, the original singer of AC/DC, will fly to Perth from his Texas home to join the artists performing at the Bon Scott Celebration concert.
Evans sang lead vocals on the first two AC/DC singles ldquo;Can I Sit Next to You Girl rdquo; and ldquo;Baby Please Don rsquo;t Go rdquo; before leaving to join Newcastle glam rockers Rabbit.
Dave said: ldquo;I haven't performed in Perth or Fremantle since 1974.
That rsquo;s when AC/DC had the hit
ldquo;Can I Sit Next to You Girl rdquo;, which was also voted the Australian single of the year.''
He now lives in America and tours the US and Europe with his band the Badasses, and
will join the Party Boys to sing his tribute to Bon, along with hard rockers Rose Tattoo, The
Angels, Screaming Jets and Perth rsquo;s own Dave Warner, The Kill Devil Hills and The Flairz.

The Bon Scott Celebration Concert, which will raise money for the Bon Scott statue in Fremantle, is on Sunday, February 25, at Claremont Showgrounds.

Good luck Dave, I hope that people in Australia give you more support and know that you sing better now than when you started with ACDC. It would be nice to se the re release of your album Thunder Down Under which had great songs on it .
