A 20,000 REWARD is being offered by police after the brutal murder of a Chinese restaurant owner in Yiewsley.
Detectives are offering the reward after revealing they believe people in Hayes and West Drayton may have information about the killers but have not come forward.
Helen Chung, 65, was stamped and kicked to death at her home in Meadow View, High Road, Cowley, on November 6 last year.
Mrs Chung, who ran the Mandarin Chinese Restaurant in Yiewsley, was killed after she returned home from work late that night.
Police believe the killers drove off in Helen's silver VW Golf to Vine Lane in Hillingdon where they broke into a house.
Helen's car was found burnt out in Village Road, Denham, the following morning.
Two months after the brutal murder and the linked aggravated burglary in Vine Lane, detectives are now offering a 20,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and prosecution of the people responsible.
DCI Steven Lawrence, leading the investigation, said: "The investigation into the murder of Mrs Chung and the linked break-in in Vine Lane on the night of November 6 continues. We know at least three suspects broke into Vine Lane.
"There is a reward of 20,000 for information that will help us prosecute those responsible."
He added: "The local community has been very helpful with our enquiries into these two appalling crimes where victims have been brutally attacked in their own homes.
"But I believe that within the local community of Hayes and West Drayton people have information who have yet to come forward.
"I appeal for anyone with information about these two attacks to contact us to help convict the offenders and prevent any more crimes of this nature."
Helen's body was found by her son on the morning of November 6. She had finished work late on November 5 before returning home.
It is believed that just after midnight on November 6, the suspects entered her home. It was initially thought that Helen had the restaurant's takings with her when she returned home, but police now know she did not.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the incident room at Belgravia on 020 7321 9251, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
