Snow Patrol, The Divine Comedy and The Duke Special are among the acts included on the shortlist for the Choice Music Prize - Ireland's equivalent of the Mercury Music Prize.
The shortlist of 10 artists has been chosen by a panel of 12 Irish music media professionals, reports NME.
Other albums on the list include Director's 'We Thrive On Big Cities', David Kitt's 'Not Fade Away' and 'Aaagh!
', from Republic Of Loose.
The prize, now in its second year, was won last year by Julie Feeney with her debut album, '13 Songs'.
The winner will be revealed on February 28 at a live event in Dublin's Vicar Street.
Many of the nominees are likely to perform on the night, although it has been confirmed that Snow Patrol and The Duke Special will definitely not play due to touring commitments.
