Aniston, Cox reunite on Dirt finale Jennifer Aniston will play a rival magazine editor to series star Courteney Cox's character for the March 27 season finale of the FX series. It will be the first time the two have worked together on a scripted project since Friends went off the air in 2004. HBO announced that The Sopranos will begin its final season on April 8 with the first of nine episodes.

Since Rosie O'Donnell joined the morning talk show program last fall, ratings have gone up 23 percent among women 18-49. Despite controversy surrounding a feud with Donald Trump and rumors about the relationship between O'Donnell and Barbara Walters, ABC says keeping O'Donnell on the 10-year-old show is a priority.

Fox O Os has signed a multiyear deal with Warner Bros. to create a daily strip based on content on the TMZ.com Web site.

The strip is being described as edgy and promises the behind-the-scenes video that made TMZ a Web sensation. A host has not yet been selected. American Idol is making full video performances from the show available to mobile customers immediately following the broadcasts.

The popular morning show will be adding a fourth hour to its broadcast schedule. Today, which just celebrated its 55th year, has spent the past 11 years at the top of the ratings. The fourth hour will be available to affiliates starting in the fall.

George Clooney will executive produce Diamond Age, a Sci Fi channel miniseries based on a futuristic civilization. The story is based on Neal Stephenson's book The Diamond Age: Or a Young Lady's Illustrated Primer, which the author will adapt for the six-hour series. ( )
AOL will migrate its digital music subscriber base to Napster following the close of AOL's Music Now service.

Financial details of the deal have not been released. The migration is expected to take place within 60 days. AOL is dropping Music Now after less than two years.

The magazine shared details from a crucial chapter of the book in which Simpson describes, hypothetically, of course, how he would have killed his wife. The magazine said Simpson writes about arguing with his ex-wife outside her home, her falling and hitting her head, and his finding himself holding a bloody knife with both her and her friend dead. Newsweek says it got the chapter from an unnamed source.

It was to be part of a book titled If I Did It, which was set to be published by an imprint of Rupert Murdoch's Harper Collins before it was scrapped after public outcry. ( )
