I have several posts here on our hypocrisy. I have commented on how we actually from within a family, often by our hypocrisy. How we never aka Freddie Mercury of Queen band fame as our own and so on.

Just finished reading BS Kesav's post on . That prompts me to write this post.

Just yesterday the CBI went digging into drains and recovered bags of remains.

How can such acts of Satan incarnates go on for so long!! I am not sure of the current score, but it is somewhere near 50.

These children have been abused, killed, processed to remove flesh from the skeletons so as not to raise much stink. The killers got so audacious they kept dumping the bodies right next to where they lived. Must have been quite a while!

That  everybody in the police station during this whole sordid affair needs to be punished is beyond any question. Not only they never took the missing complaints, they never woke up to the fact that there's something seriously amiss with such a large number of missing children. Anyone found responsible in these acts should be considered accessory to the killings and punished accordingly.

Their acts of omission and not doing anything directly amounts to such a crime. How can anyone get away with not just one murder but scores of them, get away for so long!!

I hope justice gets done eventually. How can police ever refuse to take complaints! That should become a punishable offense.

To my mind there's one departmental punishment used by many countries which could be effective. One of the reasons public servants are so apathetic is that they can't be fired. And  they earn pensions after finishing their stint of service, however ineffective that might have been.

Like other countries, I hope, taking away the pension would become an instrument of punishment in our country too. This kind of criminal negligence should attract a drastic punishment like that for the people involved.

Please recall most of these child victims were teens or pre-teens.

The killers could simply lure them inside the house by temptations of sweets being offered. Just imagine how many kids could have been saved if they were aware of dangers and refused to go into the house! The killer duo would have become known for trying such trick long enough ago and possibly would have raised alarms all round.

These two possibly would have been caught much earlier. It's such a shame this went on for so long and so many lives were lost. While the law-keepers have responsibility, don't we as parents have responsibilities here!

And that's kind of fundamental, Until they can take care of themselves children depend on us to take care of them. It's really a shame on you parents!!
