The Manhattan Piano Trio will perform at the First Presbyterian Church in Myrtle Beach.
The New York City trio was the grand prize winner of the 2006 Plowman National Chamber Music Competition.
The group is made up of pianist Milana Bahl, violinist Dmitry Lukin and cellist Dmitry Kouzov.
Lukin and Kouzov, both from St. Petersburg, Russia, met Bahl, a Moldavian-born American pianist, at the Juilliard School in 2004.
Over the past couple years, the trio has performed more than 150 concerts in 22 states.
The musical ensemble was also one of the first chamber music groups to perform in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina.
Bahl is the founding member of the trio and has been playing the piano since she was 6.
She has performed in Alice Tully Hall and the United Nations General Assembly Hall in New York City, Van Wezel in Sarasota, Fla.
, Jordan Hall in Boston and Gusman Concert Hall in Miami.
Kouzov began studying music when he was 7. He has performed throughout the United States, Europe and Russia with orchestras, solo recitals and chamber music ensembles.
Lukin began playing the violin at age 5. At age 7, he entered the St. Petersburg Conservatory and within four years made his debut at the Grand Concert Hall in St.
Petersburg.
