Musically, Nineveh Road took the risky road; the road most would rather not follow. As a result they have all come out on top because fans love the music as a result of their decision. The band agrees, that, 'We are all on both roads at some point.
Our music tells the story of our travels on both roads.' To date, this group has succeeded in defying the music industry status quo with their brand of adult alternative. Nineveh Road is a musical euphony of blends and styles that intentionally seek to captivate you.
Currently, the band consists of 30 year vet bass player Leif Lewis, whose wide range of musical influences, his blend of jazz, funk, rock, and soul, has given him quite a palette of colors to choose from when it comes to making music; producer/ keyboardist John Adams, who is one of the co-founders of the band; vocalist Parker, whose classically trained pipes gave him lots of power to tackle band after band, gigging across the country in various musical venues, from Disneyworld to the Apollo Theater and even Carnegie Hall; and drummer Adams, whose life as a studio musician and Broadway performer further prepared him to co-found the band with his brother John. Undoubtedly, this release is a labor of love and pain, tragedy and triumph, personal loss and defiant victory,as demonstrated in songs like Granted, What I Cant Have, The Ghetto Rose and the flagship anthem, The Nineveh Road. The results are upbeat messages full of hope.
According to band member 'Vinnie' Adams, the release of this album means the culmination of a lifetime of powerful stories never told and now set to music. It means the end and the beginning ..
..the end of a childhood fantasy the marks the beginning of a grownup reality, that this is really happening and could continue for the rest of our lives.
' With the release of their debut single entitled, What I Can't Have (Nasty Habit) , you can expect that Nineveh Road is not afraid to take you everywhere they've been in their lives and know that you're going love it, feel it, BE it.
