Ski Roundtop in York County has been struggling to keep man-made snow on it's slopes this mild winter season. And now it seems mother nature is kicking them when their down.
Thick fog covered the mountain since Monday morning scaring off thousand of potential customers on this extended holiday weekend.
Chris Dudding of Ski Roundtop says, "On a day like this we would normally have several thousand people on the mountains. Today there's only a few hundred."
Last week Roundtop added 20-inches of man made snow to the slopes but warm weather and rain has made more than half of them unfit for skiers and snowboarders.
But on a positive note the loyal customers and beginners who did brave the foggy condition today, got their money's worth. There are no lines and the mountains three best slopes are still open.
With a cold snap expected in the coming days or as early as tomorrow Roundtop believes it can produce enough snow to open most if not all of it's slopes.
