Ever since I broke the Luxe Life world exclusive that pop-princess early New Year's Day, after celebrating at the in Caesars Palace, I've remained silent.
It is absolutely no secret that Britney had to be helped out of the nightspot, but for some strange reason, the fallout of her meltdown won't let up.
Now comes two more contradictory versions of the outcome. New York Daily News columnist Ben Widdicombe says she might not get paid as much as $400,000 because "she failed to spend the agreed amount of time in the club because she had to be helped out after collapsing.
" The Daily News says PURE executives want to nix the giant appearance fee because she violated the contract.
The columnist goes further saying PURE is "furious over her PR excuses later that she fell asleep, thus implying it's a boring club." However, Britney's camp is denying the claims and a PURE manager insists Britney's payday was less than half the now reported $400,000!
"She won't forfeit any money. We love Britney and can't wait for her to return." In fact it's reported that PURE's owners are secretly thrilled about the worldwide publicity our original story started.
"It was more than they ever dreamed of," said one source!

So, now I can reveal I was standing less than six feet away from Britney, chatting with her manager Larry Rudolph, when she "went down" 50-minutes into the New Year.
I watched first hand as the swept her entourage. I was the closest person standing to both the woman who screamed, "make sure no photos, there can't be any pictures," and her bodyguard who immediately summoned PURE's security force to shield the pop star, wrap a blanket-scarf poncho over her head and guard her as she was propelled out of the club -- moved under her armpits by two of her dancers carrying her. I knew there would be super-spin to deny the truth of what I'd seen or would write but, hey, that goes with the territory.
What's the most disturbing of all is that Britney is still partying and hasn't stopped her late night escapades.
And now -- be it true or a sick joke -- comes word that Britney is turning it all into a new TV reality contest with MTV Films! Craigslist has just published a Vegas casting call for Zomba Films, MTV and LCAA Productions looking for 8 males and 8 females over the age of 21 to compete for a position on Britney's new team giving her guidance, perception and help with her comeback.
On Craigslist Britney is quoted as saying "The last couple of years have been quite a ride for me and my every move has been criticized. Now I want to show my fans and critics that I'm coming back this year bigger and better than ever."
Thus, Britney will surround herself with a new team of advisors and each week a new contestant will walk and work by her side around the clock for 5 straight days.
The 16-week production will win up with one winner not only to keep Britney on the straight and narrow but also to polish her image and style and mastermind her comeback! Says Britney: "I'm thrilled about this new chapter in my life and even more excited to involve my fans in my comeback."
I'm betting that when you send in your application summary as to how you can help Britney clean up her act you have to write more than just, "Keep your knickers on and stop the drinking!
" In all of this the silence from Fed-Ex has been deafening so expect within the week for Kevin Federline to start dropping new bombshells. Meantime, Britney is off to Miami to resume work on her new album.
ANOTHER REALITY SHOW
Magician told me at our that he's landed a new TV reality show hosting 'Magic with the Stars,' based on the premise of 'Dancing with the Stars,' except featuring professional magicians training celebrities on how to perform an exciting Vegas magic act. Nathan recruited two of our ' ' cast members Poison's C.C.
Deville and 'Baywatch's' Traci Bingham (seen above) who had filmed a similar segment with him for our show that's now airing on VH1 every Sunday night.
Nathan gained national recognition last summer as the most featured magician on NBC's hit, 'America's Got Talent."' He was also the only magician on 'The Entertainer' with on the E!
Network, and he'll be seen next month in that episode of 'Fame Games.' The recent death of former President Gerald Ford reminded Nathan that his father was minister of the Palm Desert church where the funeral was held and the First Family had worshipped. It was also where Susan Ford was married and the eve before that wedding the Secret service had to confiscate Nathan's toy walkie-talkie set because it had intercepted the Secret service channel, but he wound up doing little tricks for Mrs.
Ford several times.

There's a certain delicious irony to this because, if you remember your gossip headlines, Mario was married to hot-Doritos chips TV model, Ali Landry, who was rival Miss USA 1996. It lasted about 2 weeks in 2004 when sassy and sexy secrets spilled about his wild bachelor party at the Palms, and she called it quits! If Miss Nevada, Caydi Cole wins, she would become the first-ever Nevada winner of the famed crown and title.
She's one of a family of 9 children and 75 of her family have promised to be at the Aladdin rooting for her. This pageant is all about education and scholarship talents and accordingly Caydi is the only contestant to be able to claim she sang the Russian version of "Ave Maria" for Pope John Paul at the Vatican!

Britain's hip-hop princess and rapper, Lady Sovereign (above) celebrated her 21st birthday at the newly-reborn nightclub at MGM with Veuve Clicquot Champagne all night long. Past midnight Lady Sovereign got on stage and blew out the sparklers on her monkey-themed birthday cake and as the crowd sang happy birthday, she tossed pieces of it at her fans.
Then, after signing autographs, and posing for fan-fotos, she surprised club goers with a special performance of her songs. Tonight, starts Jordan Miner's new "Influence" at Studio 54 with WWE superstar and model Candice Michelle hosting the city's newest locals and hospitality industry night.
PARTY PEOPLE
Lovely 'OC' star Autumn Reeser (above) celebrated boyfriend Jesse Warren's birthday at dining with 10 friends in a private room on Chilean Sea Bass, Chicken Pad Thai and Kobe Beef. At the TAO nightclub dance floor VIP table Jesse was surprised with a birthday cake sparkler presentation from the nightclub staff.

Duane "Dog the Bounty Hunter" Chapman (below) isn't letting his legal woes get in the way of having a good time. First at restaurant in with wife Beth, and comedian joined them for Jay Leno's show, and then continued onto JET Nightclub partying until the wee hours in the Hip-Hop room. MTV's Andy Milonakis also in goofed around at their table after playing host at the door at for 2-hours entertaining unsuspecting patrons.
