Chris Hockenhull set out to re-create the image of Dylan standing in a doorway surrounded by children by tracking down the 10 people who appeared in the picture, the Daily Mail reported. Eight of the 10 people seen in the photo as children agreed to go back to the scene in Liverpool, but Dylan was not contacted to be in the picture. We didn't try to get Dylan to come and appear in the photograph.

There would have been no room for him, said Hockenhull. It was such a clash of 1960s culture. The kids looked like Victorian street urchins and Dylan looked like a man from Mars with his loud shirt and wild hair -- that's what fascinated me, he said about the photograph.

Hockenhull, 50, took his new photo in November and it will be shown on BBC1 Friday.
