Ulster music fans are gearing up for a spell of non-stop entertainment as some of the biggest names in rock and pop head to Belfast.
Over the next two months tens of thousands of concert-goers will pack into venues across the city to watch a world-class mix of artists, from Pink to Paolo Nutini.
Kicking off the series of gigs next month are indie prog rockers Muse, who are playing a sell-out show at the Odyssey Arena on Saturday, November 4.
The band, who have picked up a string of awards for their live performances, last played here in February 2004. They recently topped the charts with their new album, Black Holes and Revelations.
Also returning to the Odyssey Arena are two of pop's leading ladies, Pink and Christina Aguilera.
Punky popstar Pink, who also played Belfast in February 2004, will play two dates at the Odyssey - Friday, November 17 and Saturday, November 18, as part of her I'm Not Dead tour. The singer is well-known for her raunchy act and caused controversy the last time she played here with her sexy stage antics.
Staff at the Odyssey won't have long to get the venue ready for the next gig as Christina Aguilera then takes to the stage on Monday, November 20.
Christina, who played the same venue in 2003, is expected to put on a dazzling display after topping the charts recently with her new album, Back To Basics, and her last single, Ain't No Other Man.
The following night it's the turn of US rock star Bruce Springsteen and his band, the Seeger Sessions Band, for an evening of folk and blues.
The Mandela Hall will play host to local band The Divine Comedy on November 11, The Feeling on November 24 and Gomez on November 29.
Brian Kennedy is back at the Waterfront Hall on Tuesday, November 21, while Scottish singer/songwriter Paolo Nutini is at the Mandela Hall on Saturday, November 25.
In the run-up to Christmas Cliff Richard plays the Odyssey Arena on December 4, while indie bands The Zutons are at the Ulster Hall on Thursday, December 7, and the Charlatans play the same venue on December 15.
Wrapping up a busy period will be home grown Snow Patrol, who will stage a triumphant homecoming concert at the Odyssey Arena following their most successful year to date, which included a number one album, two top ten hits and a tour of the US.
Anita Gibney of Wonderland Promotions said: "The next few months are going to be extremely busy for us and we've got some of the hottest names in music coming to town, including Paolo Nutini, The Zutons and Muse.
"And of course we're ending the year on a high with local lads Snow Patrol playing the Odyssey Arena for the first time, repeating the success of their sell-out show this summer at Botanic Gardens, Belfast."
A spokeswoman for Aiken Promotions, which is bringing Pink, Christina Aguilera and Bruce Springsteen to town, said: "It's a hectic time for us, but a great time for music fans.
