-- by Arieanna -->| Apparently, hosting the World Music Awards 2006 was not glamorous and glitzy, but rather a night from hell for Lindsay Lohan.
Every time Lindsay Lohan hit the stage to host, she was met with Booing. Public booing.
Lindsay Lohan became so upset she quit as host half way through!
She was visibly upset when the audience booed her every time she took to the stage, she fell down the stairs and was forced to abandon her role as main host of the ceremony.
The 20-year-old actress pulled out halfway through after tumbling down a flight of stairs backstage.
An onlooker at the awards in Earls Court revealed: Lindsay was devastated, she came off stage and fell, and so she had to give up. It looked incredibly painful.
Her role was from then on taken up by the individual awards presenters.
Luckily, she was not seriously hurt - she was well enough to go partying afterwards, the only sign of injury a blue sticking plaster on a finger.
Still, it wasn t all bad. Like the other celebrities, Lohan raided the free gifting room backstage and was among the first to snap up the hottest gift on show the Fish n'Flush toilet, with an aquarium of live goldfish.

Her absence from the stage was probably more due to embarrassment than from the fall. But all in all, I m sad for Lindsay.

It will be broadcast in 160 countries, some on November 22nd. This is a huge thing for Lindsay Lohan and I am just so excited to see the awards!!

-- by Arieanna -->| Lindsay Lohan is expected to skip the Kids Choice Awards in Australia on Wednesday. Although she was slated to appear, she has not returned their calls and her unreliable history has them quite angry.
It s highly unlikely Lohan will turn up for the Nickelodeon Kids Choice awards in Sydney on Wednesday night, but even if she does make it to Australia, organisers behind the scenes are describing the negotiations as a debacle.
That woman, you could tear your hair out with her, a source close the events team told S last week.
We finally pulled the plug on her, so we re progressing without her in place, she said. But I guess we can t really say either way, because if we get a last-minute phone call, it s not as though we re going to say no.
The Kids Choice management team had set a final deadline for Lohan to agree to a contract by Thursday of last week, but Lohan s management had not responded to the deadline.
No contracts were signed by our final deadline, said the source. It s so hard to know what s actually happening.
Of course, the arrival of Lohan at any Australian event would generate a mountain of global publicity - it s just a matter of getting the party-hardened star on a plane.
Despite early claims the actor was signed up to attend the event, there s no doubt negotiations have been tenuous from the word go.

Lindsay lohan has been named Hollywood Film Festival Breakthrough Actor of the Year.
Meanwhile, beyond all the tabloid madness, Lindsay Lohan has been quietly trying to make the leap to legitimate actress with performances in Robert Altman s Prairie Home Companion, the Robert F. Kennedy assassination drama Bobby (a critical hit at the Venice Film Festival and an entry in this year s Hollywood Film Festival), next year s Garry Marshall drama Georgia Rule and the John Lennon-themed Chapter 27.
As such, she is this year s Hollywood Film Festival Breakthrough Actor of the Year.
