Clientele isn't just for corporations or Ghostface; bands have clientele, too-- it's you, the fans. Even the Clientele have clientele (whoa, did your brain just liquefy?), and in order to stay in business, the British indie pop band must offer products desirable to consumers.

The Clientele's latest piece of merchandise, the Best New Music-anointed album Strange Geometry, came out last week on Merge Records and, well, talk about a proof for an excellent album (geometry...

proof...

get it)! Starting Sunday night in Toronto, the Clientele will hawk their goods and services across North America. We already reported these dates, but hey, a reminder can't hurt.

Life is good for Rilo Kiley right now. As if having their last album fawned over by the likes of Spin, Rolling Stone, and well..

.us wasn't enough, the band just wrapped up a month-long tour of arenas and I know, I know, we don't exactly like that band, but consider that just a few years ago, Rilo Kiley were opening for Ozma and playing to clubs half-full of kids flashing the flying =w= as a show of affection. Coldplay don't sound so bad now, do they?

But life is extra good for Rilo Kiley's lead singer, Jenny Lewis. On top of her band's now-mainstream success, she's got an upcoming solo LP to look forward to. As previously reported, the album, entitled Rabbit Fur Coat is due out this coming January.

It will be released on Team Love Records, the label run by Lewis's ex-labelmate Conor Oberst. Rabbit Fur Coat will sport a nerd-friendly array of guest stars, including Ben Gibbard, Conor Oberst, and the guitarist from Maroon 5. Ummm, is it just us or is one of these things not like the other?

Regardless, here's the tracklist: Throughout a career characterized by strange noise reflections and a mysterious refusal to acknowledge much of the outside world, NYC's No-Neck Blues Band (or NNCK) has been almost unmatchable in following a singular creative path towards cottage-industry utopia. All petulant attempts to remain nameless and shapeless notwithstanding, Kill Rock Stars' eclectic offshoot 5 Rue Christine confirms that it will be putting out a new NNCK album called Qvaris on November 8.
