Since 1998, when Olha Chipak and Oleksiy Kushnir started to play together, their duo has become one of the most renowned contemporary piano duos. Chipak and Kushnir were laureates of numerous prestigious national and international competitions including the prize winners in the 2003 Dranoff International Two Piano Competition held in Miami. The youthful artists' January 13 program will offer four-hand piano masterworks from the Classical, Romantic and eras, including a Two-Piano Sonata by Mozart, Mendelssohn's vibrant 'Allegro Brilliante,' and two 20th century favorites, Ravel's pulsating 'La Valse' and the colorful 'Scaramouche Suite,' penned by French-born composer Milhaud.
