Farrell, the eclectic front man from the groundbreaking, early 1990s alternative rock act Jane's Addiction will play Friday, Jan. 26 at 10:30 p.m.

, according to X Games officials. Chicago emcee Common plays Saturday night at 10 p.m.

A long-time favorite of the underground hip-hop scene, Common has released a half-dozen albums and has appeared on tracks with Kanye West, Mos Def and Talib Kwali. His notoriety increased after appearances on the Comedy Central hit "Chappelle's Show." Common was one of the headlining acts in 2006 on the summer music festival tour Lollapolooza, which Farrell founded in the early 1990s as a showcase for the emerging alternative rock scene.
