After a busy time at Best Buy I have some time to catch up on this forum.
First off, can't remember who it was but I think it was atop page 4 or 5..

...

.I'm not too young!!

Graduated a few years ago and have been very active in my faith and learning the teachings of it and very proud to say I may be entering the seminary soon in Fargo. Not sure if it's truely for me but I may explore it if I feel it is my calling. I also keep very up to date on the news and national/world issues as they are of interest to me.

(do not post stupid remarks, criticism, or anything else about the above as it is irrelevant to the topic and is directed at the person who stated the question of my age.)
As for the last person who posted, he/she is right. I work in the Geek Squad precinct and yes, we for the final 3 days before Christmas were playing Christmas music, whether it was traditional, contemporary Christan artists(ex.

MercyMe, Kutless), or even the off the wall Chipmunk renditions. I did say merry Christmas to those who I spoke with and they never seemed to notice their surroundings or commented on the subject. I personally know of many of our employees have been doing the same.

So to boycott a company for it's stance on such a subject is irrelevant until you go to see what that company's store in your community is doing themselves. As I said before, "Just because Best Buy as a company won't say Merry Christmas, doesn't mean their employees won't."

You're so vocal about the freedom in this country yet you want to force your opinion down everyone's throat and then tell them to leave when they don't agree with you.

That's when the problems begin. Allow those with other beliefs, their rights to express their opinions. Merry Christmas or go F yourself isn't very Christian or American of you.

It's all about love and acceptance.

If you don't like this Word! Then pack your stuff and go back where you are from and leave us alone.

Go back to the Country that gave you everything? Go back to the Coutry that gave you freedom? "What" you can't go back because that country is not going to give you everything this country has to offer you!

I say then "Shut the Hell Up" and bless God and this Country, that you are still alive and your chirldren, have everything. You just can't come into this country and run it like the country you just came from. You should of not left, in the first place.

Everyone that believes in God and Christmas Should go on and say MERRY CHRISTMAS, to everyone and anyone.
Just like the muslim's would say allah to you if you were in there country and they would expect you to say the same thing, if you were living there. I hope everyone gets what I'm trying to say!

!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS and may GOD BLESS EVERYONE.

Just Thinking, I don't think you're a predator or a creep. We just have differing opinions. That's the good thing about this board.

It lets us all share and read what others think.
As for your question, no, I am not very young. I'm also not that old, either.

I'm not in my 20's and will not say how long ago I left my 30's.
I guess my main concern with all of this is that we are so worried about who we will offend because there is money to be made. I attended a school in which I was one of the few Christians among Jewish students.

We learned the Dreidel song and it didn't offend me. I was wished "Happy Chanukah" and I was not offended. People should relax more and stop curtailing the rights and expressions of others.

By saying "Merry Christmas", it is not an assualt to anyone.

'Twas the month before Christmas,
When all through our land,
See, the PC Police had taken away
The reason for Christmas - no one could say.
About Shepherds and Wise Men and Angels and things.

It might hurt people's feelings, the teachers would say,
Yet the shoppers were ready with cash, checks and credit,
Pushing folks down to the floor just to get it!
CDs from Madonna, an X BOX, an I-pod
Something was changing, something quite odd!
In hopes to sell books by Franken Fonda.

At Lowe's, the word Christmas was nowhere to be found.
You won't hear the word Christmas; it won't touch your ears.
Are words that were used to intimidate me.

On Boxer, on Rather, on Kerry, on Clinton !
At the top of the Senate, there arose such a clatter
To eliminate Jesus in all public matter.
And we spoke not a word, as they took away our faith,
Forbidden to speak of salvation and grace.

The true Gift of Christmas was exchanged and discarded.
The reason for the season, stopped before it started.
Sipping your Starbucks, listen to me.

Choose your words carefully, choose what you say
Shout MERRY CHRISTMAS, not Happy Holiday!

First, I want you to notice that there is another Amy who uses "amy" without the captialized first letter.
Now that's squared away, I have a response to Just Thinking:
It is not nonsense to say that Christianity is under attack.

Maybe you should read this:
There really is a war for Christmas going on. Yes, everyone has religious freedom and that includes Christians. We are supposed to have freedom of religion, not freedom from religion.
