The program will include an eclectic offering of chamber music groups involving area professionals, Tyler Youth Orchestra students and featuring guest artist, violinist Jennifer John of Denver, Colo., artist faculty member of the Aspen Music School.
Performers include Ann and Isidor Saslov, Dr.
Jennifer Dalmas, Dr. Evgeni Raychev, William Hinkie, Michael Grinnell, Katy Roebke, the TYO String Quartet, the TAO Quartet and the TYO Cello Choir, Ms. Eikner said.
Tickets, which may be purchased at the door, are $10, with all proceeds going to the Betty Raisig Chamber Music Fund "enabling deserving young musicians from the East Texas area to receive quality chamber music coaching from professional musicians from the East Texas area," she said.
A Violin and Chamber Music Master Class, given by Ms. John, will take place at 10 a.
m. Saturday in the Jean Browne Theater at TJC.
The class is free of charge.
