America Ferrera is the star of ABC's hit new comedy, "Ugly Betty". And she's also in a new film that just premiered at the Austin Film Festival. While in Austin recently, Ferrera sat down with KVUE's Olga Campos to talk about the film "Steel City" and the success of "Ugly Betty".


To celebrate the 40 year anniversary there's a new book about the show, called "'It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown' --- The making of a television classic." Actress Ellen Barkin's bling was sold at auction Tuesday night, netting her a cool $20 million. The 100 pieces of jewelry, including diamonds, rubies, and sapphires, were given to her by her ex-husband Ron Perelman during their six-year marriage.

It was the fourth-largest single owner auction in history and the head of Christie's jewelry division says Barkin is very, very pleased with the outcome. Irritated by hecklers during a skit, Barbara Streisand told someone to "Shut the ___ up." From Los Angeles to New York, modern technology lets us beam news into Seattle.

And when we can't reach the stars, they too come to us via satellite. But sometimes, the stars have to wait and wile away the minutes. Evidently, all this waiting can be tiring.

At a memorial for "Crocodile Hunter" Steve Irwin at the Australia Zoo Wednesday, 8-year-old Bindi Irwin told the crowd that she had the "best daddy in the world.

" She helped make the TV show "Sex and the City" a hit. Now Sarah Jessica Parker hopes to do the same with her new fragrance. The actress talked with her fans at the downtown Seattle Nordstrom on Thursday.

Some people even lined up on the escalators to get a photo. The fragrance is called "Lovely" and Parker even signed bottles for her fans.

" Paris Hilton was arrested in Hollywood early Thursday (9/7) morning suspected of driving under the influence. "The officers observed that Hilton exhibited the symptoms of intoxication. A field sobriety test was conducted at scene, and the officers determined she was driving under the influence,'' Officer I.

Isabella said, reading a police statement. Paris Hilton was booked on suspicion of misdemeanor DUI and released. Sister, Nikki with beau Kevin Connolly, were seen rushing into the Los Angeles Police Department, Hollywood Station, where Paris was being held.

Paris' publicist, Elliot Mintz, confirmed the arrest and said police detected the minimum blood-alcohol level to warrant an arrest. Hilton was driving home from a charity event at the time according to Mintz. Kimberly Stewart, Rod Stewart's daughter was reportedly also in the vehicle.
