BERLIN, Oct. 28 (UPI) -- A German opera company will go forward with a performance that had drawn protests from Muslims as being an insult to the Prophet Mohammed.
Berlin s Deutsche Oper postponed four performances of Mozart s "Idomeneo" last month due to fears that a scene featuring the founder of Islam s severed head (and those of Jesus, Buddha and Poseidon) might stir up violence by radical Muslims.

The decision raised criticism that the Deutsche Oper was caving in to the threat of terrorism.
The German newspaper Deutsche Welle said Saturday Deutsche Oper decided the show would go on following a review by police that determined there was no immediate threat to the performances or the Berlin opera house.
Producers said the earliest that "Idomeneo" could be performed was December.
