Chris Rock visits Kenya's biggest slum

NAIROBI (AFP) - Accompanied by his wife, Rock visited Kibera slums, home to an estimated 800,000 people, and pledged to seek ways of helping the poor. "I have come to Kibera to see for myself the blight of this people (and) see what we can do," he said in the Kibera slums, south of Nairobi, full of leaking sewage and cardboard houses. Asked why he toured the sprawling settlement, Rock said: "I go whereever my wifes tells me to go.

" "I will be spending a quite few days in Maasai Mara," he added. Maasai Mara is world-renowned for its abundant wildlife, rolling savannah and luxury safari camps.
