including progressive classics, which were the tracks that most called my attention. Pink Floyd's WYWH and DSOTM, Genesis' Trespass, Supertramp's Paris, Yes' CTTE, Oldfield's Tubular Bells and Incantations, KC's ITCOTCK, those were some of my first purchases. It wouldn't be too long before Camel, Kansas, Rush, Tangerine Dream, and many others joined in my boxes and drawers.
Meanwhile, current bands like Saga and Marillion were becoming popular, while Oldfield was still hot in the European market. Number of CD in your collection of original progressive albums: I'm sorry, I don't have an accurate answer to this question..

My parents used to gather together around my father's acoustic guitar, and sing folk tunes from Peru (their original country).
They have lots of records, including classical, and some Beatles, Santana, jazz fusion stuff. In my early years I used to enojy those things (and still do), so it is no wonder that listening to music and writing about would later become an enormous hobby of mine. Why is prog my favourite?
Maybe there is a strong part of my rock'n'roll hearts that loves to be challenged - the multicoloured possibilities of this genre, I suppose, managed to capture that part of me and captivate it for eternity.
