Age: Student (Musicology, University of Utrecht, third year) I play alto, tenor and soprano saxophone (Excluding homemade compilations) I own 1028 cd's, of which 348 are Prog Rock, 237 Jazz, 59 Classical, and the rest Pop/Rock/Metal etc. In addition, I have 67 vinyl records, of which 26 are Prog Rock. I think I first visited this website in November 2003 (about the time I started listening to prog).

I joined the forums at February 7, 2004. If I am right, I became a collaborator (prog reviewer) in May 2004, and a special collaborator in August 2005. I write reviews and correct errors (in tracklists, release dates, subgenres etc.

..) whenever I can.

So far, I have written the biography for the following bands'/artists' pages on Prog Archives: , , , and . If you have any questions or suggestions, feel free to contact me. When I was a little boy, I listened to my dad's tapes of Dire Straits, Robbie Robertson, John Watts and Joe Jackson, to name a few.

I really liked that, so, after flirting a little with the mainstream pop music of that time (the nineties) I started listening to more classic rock and alternative rock. I loved Led Zeppelin and Deep Purple, among others. And I also had some Radiohead.

But then I discovered AC/DC and my taste developed more towards metal. This is where my real love for music began.
