Oil 10 - "Beyond all" The French one-man project Oil 10 is back with a new album. This time released on Funkwelten, Gilles Rossire again presents music sculptures created by electronic atmospheres and dark beats. The exquisite quality of his productions had made 'Arena' one of his most acclaimed albums.

SL. Three years of silence, and your work has been growing more and more into electronic landscapes and danceable songs.

As you started releasing a club EP, have you ever considered creating a side project to release more strictly 'clubbing music'?
G. Not really.

The greatest pleasure I get from Oil 10 is to be able to mix different moods, different styles from one album to another, and inside the album itself. And I try to create a new direction for each album. Changing atmospheres and creating surprises between tracks and albums is my obsession and my fulfillment.

I wouldn't like to compose the same kind of tracks over and over, even for one album. It would be very boring for everyone. I'm a great fan of original soundtracks for movies.
