I'm a nerd. I go to the comic book store every week to pick up my favourite titles, and I usually end up buying even more. That makes me a nerd.
And very rarely do I ever see a girl, let alone a girl like Rosario Dawson, there.
But when you have your own comic book, that you co-wrote, with characters based on your likeness, called Occult Crimes Taskforce, then that makes you a nerd. So, Rosario Dawson, guess what: You're a nerd too.
And I love it!
It's about time there were some women in the real world who actually look like the women in the comic world, and who actually read comics too.

Even though the air this Thursday, they were held this past Saturday since aparently, MTV isn't much for the whole "live" thing. Not much to report really.
No wardrobe mulfunctions, or see-through dresses to speak of, and definitely no like at last year's show.
Still, there were a lot of hotties in attendance, inlcuding host Jessica Alba, of course, along with performer Christina Aguilera, and others like Jessica Simpson, Kate Beckinsale, Eva Mendes, Sandra Bullock, Famke Janssen, Rebecca Romijn and Rosario Dawson. To name just a few.
In fact, there are 268 pictures in the gallery after the jump. That's probably enough to keep you occupied until the show actually airs.
Oh, and Lauren Conrad (LC) from Laguna Beach showed up with skeazeball boyfriend Jason.
Grr. Jason.
Here's what I really don't get about celebrities, and socialites in general.
In order to raise money for a cause, they throw lavish parties, wear absurdly expensive dresses and jewels, and eat food that costs more for one meal than most families could afford for a month. All in the name of fundraising.
Take, for example, the Costume Institute Benefit Gala held at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York each year.
The goal is to raise money for the Met, to fund the arts, and all that good stuff, but wouldn't it make more sense to shelve the egos, put away the dresses, and just give all that money, that would otherwise be spent on frivolity, directly to the cause for which they are trying to raise funds?
I mean, there are starving artists in the East Village who can't even afford new canvases, let alone the cost of their next heroine fix.
Of course, if celebrities didn't throw these ridiculous parties, I wouldn't have all these pictures to post on my blog, and then no one would be happy.

You probably already knew that Wilmer Valderrama of That 70s Show has had his fair share of the ladies, but yesterday on The Howard Stern Show on Sirius Satellite radio, he dished on all the Hollywood hotties he's had in his bed, including Lindsay Lohan, Mandy Moore, Jennifer Love Hewitt, and Ashlee Simpson.
Though he said he wasn't with Jamie Presley, Rosaria Dawson or Jessica Alba, despite tabloid rumours.
Of course, none of this is really news, since you can pretty much assume that in Hollywood, if they're dating, they're doing it. Everybody's got this story today, so I'm just gonna grab the good bits from other people.
