ALBANY, N.Y., Oct.
11 (UPI) -- John Lennon s killer, Mark David Chapman, has been denied parole for a fourth time and will remain imprisoned for at least two more years in Attica, N.Y.
"The panel remains concerned about the bizarre nature of this premeditated and violent crime," New York s three-member Parole Board wrote Tuesday, the New York Post said.
Lennon s widow, Yoko Ono, did not appear before the board in Albany, N.Y., but reportedly submitted a DVD in which she requested Chapman, 51, remain jailed.
Lennon, who would have turned 66 Monday, was gunned down outside the apartment building where he lived with Ono on Dec. 8, 1980.
