Did you see X Factor on Saturday? Wasn t it hilarious? Did those people actually think they stood a chance of getting through to the next round?
And that bit where they played some vaguely inspirational music when they did actually get through?
OK, OK. We didn t see X Factor on Saturday.
But we d bet our sweet arse that all that stuff we just mentioned happened, since it s happened on every single X Factor episode since the series was invented. And we didn t even mention the comedy sound effect of a stylus being knocked off a record, which we re guessing got played over 150 times of Saturday s X Factor.
We still don t know who the X Factor finalists are going to be yet, so we can t give you any serious X Factor betting odds just yet.
However, we do have a bunch of vaguely ludicrous X Factor special bets to offer you this week, starting now.
Rebecca Loos to be a guest judge on this year s X Factor - Well, this isn t really likely to happen is it? The basis of this betting market is Celebrity X Factor, where Sharon Osbourne and Rebecca Loos had a bit of a falling out.
Not one of the usual Oooh Louis you terrible man, I want to throw this water over you, choreographed X Factor falling out - a genuine daggers-for-eyes poison-filled falling out because Rebecca Loos possibly had sex with David Beckham and Sharon Osbourne is friends with Victoria and David Beckham and David Beckham said that Rebecca Loos smells of wee and chips and that. Whether or not Sharon Osbourne is as shitty with David Beckham as she was to Rebecca Loos - and whether or not Sharon Osbourne and Ozzy Osbourne have remained completely faithful to each other - remains to be seen, but the likelihood of Rebecca Loos turning up as an X Factor guest judge probably couldn t be any lower, although it s still slightly higher than the chance of either Sharon Osbourne or Rebecca Loos ever making a halfway decent TV show. Current X Factor betting odds - 50/1
Tomorrow: Chico to present X Factor?
